About the artist

Emma Bourke is a glass artist. Expressive sculptural works created by the processes of flameworking showcase her intuitive and informed approach to her research into the traditional and contemporary uses of wild Irish plants. Emma’s underlying objective is to bring the essence of what she finds engaging in the endangered customs and wild flora unique to her homeland into her contemporary glass practice.
